TV Cogeco's "The Lounge" was a celebration of arts, culture and community.

Focusing on interesting people from various walks of life, this weekly programme offered an intimate and engaging get-together in which the viewers can interact with the presenters and guests, enjoy great live music, and get up and close and personal with some familiar faces.

Hosted by seasoned personalities Anthony D.P. Mann and Pamela Tomsett, "The Lounge" was fresh, light, and above all else - entertaining.

It had an exciting two seasons, with some fascinating folk from around town, and a few very famous faces... including:

• Roger Whittaker - Legendary Singer...
• Dave Coulier - "Joey" from "Full House...
• Tom Jackson - "Singing For Supper" and star of "North of 60"...
• Roger James - Canadian Entertainer...
• Peter J. Fox - Singer / Songwriter...
• Tim Aylesworth - Singer / Songwriter...
• Blackpool the Magician...
• The Bells - Canadian band ("Fly Little White Dove, Fly", etc!)
• Rita MacNeil - Beloved Canadian Singer...

Anthony and Pamela have had great fun with our special guests, and have had the opportunity to go out into the community and experience the fine art of making samba music with Samba Kingston, learn festive floral arrangement techniques with Exquisite Flowers, enjoyed shivers and screams at Kingston Family Fun World's Scaretacular attraction, explored the inner-workings of Kingston' local food bank, and were entertained by excerpts from Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", as performed by Jacob James and company from the Stratford festival.

Along the way, we have met some wonderful visitors, including ROGER WHITTAKER, DAVE COULIER, RITA MACNEIL, TOM JACKSON, and many others!.
